DAY ONE:
We are now setting workshops for 2013.
All our workshops unless otherwise stated will be using the latest HYBRID method of straw bale building technology with earthen and or lime renders.
ADDITIONAL CUSTOM WORKSHOPS:
We are currently in discussions with several clients around Australia on hosting a custom workshop on their properties during 2013, if you are interested in such a workshop on your property please contact us as soon as practical, thank you.
In 2013 we will be conducting workshops in NSW Taree (Postponed), Queensland Gympie (October), Tasmania Hobart and possibly Victoria and other parts of Australia with our clients, all to be confirmed.

GANMAIN NEW SOUTH WALES
The workshops or training courses that we will offer from now on in Ganmain will be concentrating on the important “details” of straw bale building. Also a new segment on costing a straw bale building.
So come and join us in Ganmain where you will visit and experience thirteen 14 straw bale buildings all nearly finished or completed now. You will witness most of the building methods that we promote on our web site.
Accommodation at the “Royal Hotel” is very reasonable and affordable and you are also welcome to camp on our land during the workshop. We always have great workshops in Golden Ganmain.
Ganmain is 60 kilometres West of Wagga Wagga near Coolamon in the heart of Canola and Chaff country. Famous for the Hay Stacks.

You will be able to work on this building and see how to waterproof bath room walls. You will also have the opportunity to use and work on earthen and lime render mixes and their application. An added extra will be making earthen floors at this particular workshop. We look forward to meeting you in Golden Ganmain during 2013.

GYMPIE, QUEENSLAND.
Straw Bale Workshop #142
SATURDAY OCTOBER 19th. to WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 23rd. 2013.
We are building a three bedroom straw bale house near Gympie for our clients Kerry and Stan.
The property is at Glenwood 35 ks North of Gympie on the Bruce Highway.

The closest accommodation available would be the Windsong Cabins in Gunalda, which have a website for people to check it out and get cabin details, prices and availability and is only about 5-10 minutes from the block. There is also a small hotel which has some accommodation in Gunalda, three motel rooms at the Matilda Service Station in Curra which is about 10-15 minutes from the block or there are several motel choices in Gympie, about 25-30 minutes from the block.
